We made it to the famous Sanbangsan Hotspring Spa (산방산 탄산온천) healing carbonic acid of Jeju Island. A wefie is a must! |
This is one of the outdoor spa pool where you are clothe, of course! |
You can enjoy the scenic view and wind in your face as you dip in! |
You see that building there? Go right down to the basement and you'll find the public spa area where you get to enjoy the rare carbon hotspring in Jeju! |
A picture of the resort-like outdoor spa. And it sits right on top of a mountain. How else can they get mountain spring water =) |
After our relaxing spa, we picked our next destination - Jeju Dinosaur Land (제주공룡랜드) |
Before we head into the Dinoland (which i always wanted to visit 'coz i have a thing for dinosaurs haha), we decided to fill our empty stomach! Spa always makes us hungry |
식당에서는 재미있는 장식이 좀 귀여워요!
|
I ordered a beef steak. The steak is huge but the sides are kinda small, and of course has a fusion of korean 반찬 (side dish) taste |
Ligna-ssi looking famished LOL (It must be hotspring that's making us sleepy or it could be the distracting Korean drama behind me) |
So that's the drama behind me LOL Btw it's so nice to be part of the Korean culture - seated on the floor and dining. |
제주공룡랜드에 왔어! |
THIS greeted us at the entrance of the Dinosaur Land! Tyrannosaurus is a genus of coelurosaurian theropod dinosaur, Aka Tyrant Lizard. |
Maiasaura is a large herbivorous hadrosaurid dinosaur genus that lived in the area currently covered by the state of Montana. |
Tuojiangosaurus is a genus of herbivorous stegosaurid dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period, and guess what, it lived in China. Aka "Tuo river lizard" |
What a non-chalent look with the dinosaur haha |
Haha it's really funny how Ligna-ssi takes a picture with the blooming flowers instead of dinosaurs in Dinoland! Surprised by blooming autumn leaves at Spring. |
Reached the square of the Dinoland! |
And this is really my favorite. 아주 키가 큰네요! |
I love this picture. Ligna-ssi looks tiny here. |
I wonder how long it took the sculptors to do these... Muttaburrasaurus was a genus of herbivorous ornithopod dinosaur, which lived in what is now northeastern Australia |
Okay, let me warned you about the endless shots of dinosaurs just 'coz i've been enthralled. Feels like Jurassic Park! |
날아가는 공룡 (flying dinosaur) |
What a nice shot of us both! = )) |
Then we went into a cave that leads us to see the skeletal structures of the real dinosaurs. Night in the museum, Korean version? |
As the trail leads us... |
There were "moving" dinosaurs that scared us quite abit with the roaring sound effects. Hee hee |
Brachiosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Jurassic Morrison Formation of North America. It's long neck makes it look like 기린 (giraffe). |
Guess! Where did we head to next?! This is the feeding area of real animals & they love carrots. |
봐...흰색 염소 |
미소지요? (Is he smiling?) |
ok, can i ask for a picture pls? |
검은색 염소... |
Then, we entered an air conditioned exhibition with interesting facts of the world of dinosaurs. Here is the history... |
아기공룡 |
Precious stones...quartz |
Turquoise stones actually look like this |
Amethyst...wahhh |
This must be Ligna-ssi's fave photo 'coz it's taken with her lavenders. Cannot forget how excited she was when she saw those pwetty flowers. |
From afar, we SPOTTED CHERRY BLOSSOMS! The reasons we came to Korea in Spring!!!! |
Such an artistic picture, isnt it? |
벗꽃!!! |
And i want a nice picture with Cherry blossoms...wheee |
This picture is for Ligna-ssi =) |
Close up.. |
놀라운 느낌! 진짜! |
There were so many cherry blossom trees lined up in Dinoland. |
A check off my bucket list = ) |
and as we stroll by the garden of cherry blossoms... |
They bloom for a short time but beautifully |
신기해! |
A whole page dedicated to my first ever cherry blossom |
Blow wind blow...just enjoying the lushness |
Peak-a-boo! |
Sun gets in your eyes. Loving dinos too. |
I dont know why we bring such huge bags out to sightsee in Jeju. Haha oh random. Fierce shot. |
Eeeeeww...feeding off |
Just chilling with the Dinosaur haha |
I love this picture very much. |
Trying yea... |
And there was a pottery making class for children |
Double the trouble. This was the last shot of Dinosaurs before sun set. (I must add it was the only time we saw cherry blossoms during our Spring trip. So glad we came!) |
Next stop! Welcome to the world of Butterflies in Psyche World Theme Park (프시케월드 - 나비공원) |
We bumped into seven dwarfs, whois musically inclined heehee |
Loving a selfie with the dwarf though I wanted one with Snow White. |
This is really 신기한 거울 |
We were given gloves before we entered so as not to leave our fingerprints on the mirrors. |
Cant stop snapping lol! |
And the lightings turned pink. Haha easily amused |
We entered the 나바와 나방 전시회 |
Butterfly specimens. Pretty? |
Koreans are artistically talented |
나비 공원 (butterfly garden) |
This is the Eskimo era and there are penguins too! |
How about Bugs' General Election? |
Life of the olden era... |
There's a fountain and balloons too. But bugs as the characters...hmm |
Bug's first attempt to the Moon |
Bugs Land? Really i dont wana go there |
Alas some butterflies pretending to be Beetles (Is that an intended pun?) |
Oh this is my fave - 화투 (Bugs playing Hwatu or flower cards) Things you still see in Korean drama today |
If you haven watched Gladiators |
Circus! |
Building of the 돌하르방 |
A game of chess anyone? |
I thought this was pretty creative too. It's call the Galage. |
Bungee Jumpeeeee....~ |
As we wait for our cabby to come...last welfie with the ladybug of course = ) |
