Trolley Limousine Day Tour - West Course

Early Sunday morning. Introducing my travel mates, Agnes & Ligna - ssi!
We are scrinting from the morning sun but nice photo. 有出国的感觉 = )

After a day at Jeju without my "teh." This takeout
from their convenient store is the closest i could
get. My Chingus (friends aka Agnes & Ligna-ssi)
can be my witness (haha!) Btw, that's our day
tour schedule. 출발!

What is a bucket list? It is a list of things you want to do before you kick the
bucket ; )

I dont look like im running for life but Ligna was supposed
to be stopping the train!

袖手旁观!

Ssshhooom ripple ride in Korea ~

Wild boar. There you go, how did you think we got our black pork dinner?

Ligna-ssi presenting the "Elephant Tribe"

Ligna & me, the sisters of height phobia = /

Watch me! (obviously no height phobia hmmpf)

A 自编, 自导, 自演 scene in Korean Dramas. Evil older sister pushing down
innocent younger sister.

First time anyone look so excited to be eaten (going to be)
by a crocodile!

Save me my hero!

I decided to "give" my leg to Agnes-ssi although the picture depicts 2 person
holding hands.

How does it feel to receive an Oscar award from Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie?

I plant you collect $$$$

Beatles and one of their girlfriend (Agnes-ssi idea)

Ssshhhhhh

I love this picture! Because it is like dream come true for me = )

I quit! (perhaps after the Korea trip)

Democratism - S. Korea

Autocratism - N.K

Helping Superman undress (hahaha!)

Im still trying to figure out is it because of murder that i am
appearing on K news...

Im guessing this would be Ligna-ssi favourite photo. Look at her face!

To end our story at Trick Eye Museum, the BIG ASS. No regrets for sure = D

2nd stop at Jeju Circus World. We saw dance, acrobatic & an amazing 오토바이 쇼
(Motorbike show)! It's also at this place that i lost (and thankfully found back) my
handphone. Like a phew. At least i can vouch for honesty in Koreans = )
Kamsahamnida Ajussi! (to our bus cum tour guide)

Sneaky picture of the performance

The boys train very hard

Lunch was at a place next to the Dwarf's Land Theme Park. We settled for lunch
before the place were filled with chatty Korean 중학생. They have really good appetite!
잘 먹겠습니다!

We only have 15 mins for the Theme Park!

Miniature Statue of Liberty in Korea

We've been New York together = D

London Bridge. (Look out for Buddha behind the bridge)

Awww 101 Dalmatian

There's a Catholic Church in Korea

Shrek, Fiona and folks. We met in USS Spore and we meet again in Jeju.
It's fate.

가개

We walked a good 15mins to get to this waterfall! I forgot
to add, good thing we had ice-cream on our way back because
the short walk kind of exhausted us.

Ligna-ssi

Agnes-ssi & me

Ligna-ssi & me

Agnes & Ligna-ssi

Seogwipo 70 Ri Romantic Cruise. Yes, romantism with at least 50 other
Ajummas & Ajussis onboard the cruise *winks*

Good breeze. Good hair.

Off we go!

The forlorn look. (We wanted to do a Titanic scene)

Ligna-ssi very focus in getting good pictures

That pointy one is Mun Island. You can actually go Scuba diving to Mun Island.
Next time we go!

Mun Island

Beomseom Island (aka Tiger Island because it looks like a crouching tiger).
Located southwest of the Seogwipo harbor, it has caves made by erosion of the sea.
The cruise made such a sharp turn towards the cave got Ligna-ssi & me really
excited. We thought we were entering the cave, but oh well it was a close up
nevetheless!

Almost to the end of our cruise trip! Jeju-do is amazing because there are so much
to see.

Ajumma & Ajussi's favourite entertainment on our way back. Imagine them dancing
and singing along.

One of the only treks we did in JeJu-Do. Koreans are really healthy people.
We enjoyed the 50 mins walk through beautiful scenary on this Olle trail as
the sun sets. The breezy autumnic view makes treking against gravity so
much more enjoyable. No wonder JeJu is known as a romantic island
perfect for couples. Well, threesome was good too!

We saw a fallen lamp-post at the trail so this picture inspires
to tell a story. Haha see how much we are enjoying our trail.

Say "Kimchi" to beautiful JeJu scenics

Sea view through my canon camera

An island that we are walking towards in this trail.

A few of our day tour mates stopping the shops
(mostly selling pineapples and other fruits)
along the pathways.

Ligna-ssi at Jeju Olle trail

Agnes-ssi and me at Jeju Olle trail

Why so many pictures? You just cant stop taking pictures in
Jeju. I finally know what that means.

And i wish i knew what this was because everything is just
lovely on camera.

Dont just look at the island. Look at the autumnish lalangs as
well : )

Finally we got someone (a tour mate who can't stop smoking)
to take a picture for us with the island as background.
Awww, so nice!

The leaves are turning red

Trees and trees and alot of trees. This is
nature.

Beautiful, isnt it? 예쁘다!

A 自拍

Spotted a cafe! Cafes are everywhere in Korea.

We were trying to figure out what the statue meant. Ligna-ssi
said it's a pregnant mum and daughter. My tourmates are
just so imaginative!

Nice picture taken with my iphone 4s camera

I like! Siting on every fence we see = )

Spot Ligna! Another self-directed emo shot.

Beautiful scenics make you girls even prettier!

My favorite lalangs

Picture taken by Ligna-ssi. Kamsahamnida,
it's a good shot.

They are everywhere!

The iconic "dol hareubang" (aka grandfather statues) are sold
in the shops along the trail. These are the miniature 하르방 돌

The spot was also one of the filming location of the famous
historical drama, Dae Jang Geum (大長今). Seogwipo in
Jeju is really quite amazing.

大長今 fliming spot

This girl is too cute to be 大長今.

That's the end to our short, 50 mins Olle trial. So much to see
already and there is more that we haven seen. Till the next time.
다음 시간까지!

We were lucky when we visited the Tangerine farm. The
tangerine season is from Oct to Feb = )

A couple in our tour group thought these were unripped
lemons! Come to think of it, yeah they do look like lemons
at this size. Regretted not picking one and keeping it!

After a long day tour. The girls wanted a nice warm local seafood dinner. I bet it
was awesome although there many suspicious looking "stuff" in that seafood pot.

돼지고기cooked in sweet sauce with sesame. I remembered it taste good.

Hum hum hum. With my "in-dept" knowledge in seafood. This should be a
조개 (Jo-gae aka shellfish)

The usual Korean side dishes (반찬) and the yummy-to-the-max steam egg. A very
simple dish but absolutely appetising for a cold weather.

I MUST take a picture with Jeju Seafood! = )

Seafood pot. Must have tasted quite good and fresh by watching the girls eat, other
than some suspicious looking "stuff" surfacing from the pot from time to time.

Last Night at Jeju-Do. This road leads to our "home" = )

  3. Hi Kristen, yes there is very little tours available in jeju on sundays, fortunately this was the only one we found. It's call trolley limousine tour. They have 2 course, east & west but guess because it's sun so we didnt have much of a choice but to go along with the offered. You can email them at jttus@naver.com to book the tour in advanced. The last i called them but the person cant really speak english so email maybe better. And just to warn you the tour guide we had couldnt speak english so u may wanna request for eng speaking guide, if they have. Have fun!

  4. Hi Claire, I am actually trying to find out how do I book the jeju trolley tour. The main website seems to be down, no matter what I clicked, it brings me to a blank page with a few korean words. How did you book it? Through that above-mentioned email?

Just some questions, does the tour bus pick you up and drop you off at your hotel directly? How much is it per pax for both the east and west course? How did you find the tour personally? Would you recommend driving instead of the tour?

    1. Hi Charmian, i booked it through the hotel conceirge. They helped us make a call & booked it over the phone.
Both east & west course should be the same price, per pax at 39,000 won. If you want to take both, that means a 2 day course, it would be 69,000 won. You can arrange them to pick you up & drop you off at your hotel lobby. It's a tour bus so they will also be picking up other passengers.
The service is good & the only drawback would be that there the tour guide couldnt speak english so unless you understand Korean, you probably wouldnt understand when he explains about the places. You can try asking for a english speaking tour guide, if you book in advanced. Otherwise, alot of places were covered at the tour & i enjoyed it :) If you drive it might take you more time to cover more places unless you're very familiar, but it depends if you want a more chillax time as compared to a guided tour. Enjoy because Jeju is really beautiful!

  5. Hi Claire, how does this bus route work, do they just stop at each tourist spot for 15,20 minutes and then you hop back on the bus to the next destination ? Do they give you enough free time to walk around or it's somewhat rush? Thank you

    1. Hello HKPUPPY, Yes the bus stops at a few destinations (you can select the route based on places you want to visit) and each stop is about 20-45mins depending on the place of interest (if there are more things to see & do then it tends to be longer). After that you hop back to the bus & it takes off to your next destination.
Personally i found it ok, though some places may need more time for picture taking, but i feel that you can visit more places with the bus tour. Otherwise you can go free & easy to places you want to spend more time. That's what i did as i had 3 days in jeju. Hope this helps! ")

    1. Hi there, here is the link of yeha tour at Jeju:
      http://www.yehatour.com/eng/dailytourbus/west
The first one i went for was pretty long ago and they didnt have a
english translator so i would recommend you to go for Yeha. They have
tourguides that were conversant in english and the routes that are
covered are very enjoyable! You can visit their website for contact
      details. Have a good trip! = )
